What Is Evergreen Library?
Evergreen Library looks like an ordinary school library: warm lights, reading cushions, shelves full of beloved books, and Ms. Hammersmith behind the checkout desk.
But sometimes, when a story begins to forget its purpose, Evergreen changes. A book glows. A key appears. StoryGate waits. And a child is invited to step through.
Story Gate
Story Gate is the mysterious cabinet inside Evergreen Library. Its stained glass glows when a story calls. The right book, the right key, and the right hearts can open the way into a story that needs restoring.
The White Whale
The white whale is the first impossible sign that Evergreen Library is more than it appears. It is mysterious, beautiful, and not fully explained at first. Like a faithful messenger, it points the children toward the stories that are calling for help.
Meet Ms. Hammersmith
Part librarian, part guide, and keeper of more secrets than she ever admits, Ms. Hammersmith is the steady heart of the Evergreen Library.
With a twinkle in her eye and a knack for asking just the right question, she helps young Restoryers discover courage, wisdom, and the stories worth saving.
Beneath her calm demeanor lies a deep knowledge of Evergreen Library's mysteries — and a suspicion that every child who walks through its doors may be part of a much bigger story.
She is not simply a librarian. But the children do not know that yet.
What Is a Restoryer?
Restoryers help stories become what they were always meant to be. They do not fix stories by memorizing the plot. They listen for what is broken, follow what is true, and offer courage, kindness, and friendship where it is needed most.
